My Favorite Season

22 September

Crackling of a fire, crunching of the fallen leaves, hoodies and leggings. Fall is absolutely my favorite season of them all and here is why.

The temperature is oh so perfect. It's not too hot, it's not too cold, it's cool and just right. It's the perfect time to pair your outfit with a nice, thin legging or with a light, cozy hoodie.

It's the time of pumpkin flavor, soups and stews, football and evening bike rides. Autumn is the perfect time for all the snuggles and cuddles of leaf piles and afternoons outside.

Although the beach days are numbered and the cold days inside are ahead, fall is the perfect time just to be outside and be on the go.

With autumn also comes the holidays. A fun, enjoyable evening of dressing up and treat or treating. Carving pumpkins and decorating with ghosts and goblins. A delicious smelling house also is to arrive as foods are cooked and baked and family gathers around the table to share what they're thankful for and to share the warm, delightful meal.

Just around the corner comes the busy, bustling holiday of them all. The freezing temps will soon come and the shopping for the perfect, thoughtful gifts. Christmas tunes will make themselves known as they joyfully play on the radios and stereos of cars and houses. The Christmas trees will come out of their hiding in attics and storage and from down the road at the local tree lot. The Christmas decor will be snatched out of boxes and hung around the home.

But, autumn will be forever my favorite. Because with autumn comes the perfect temps, hoodies and knee high boots and warm coffees and fallen leaves that are absolutely comfortable and stunning.

What is your favorite season?

See you soon!
