About Anna

I’m Anna Elizabeth Glazebrook. Glaze like the type of donut and brook like a babbling brook. Nope, you’re not mistaken. Over the phone, that’s literally how it needs to be described most times to get the spelling just right. And no, there is no E at the end.
Throughout childhood: I danced (hell yes, girl, hip-hop queen), I blogged, I attempted drawing and failed epically. I struggled in middle school like every kid ever. I got my slick Rayban glasses my freshman year of high school and could finally see the world without blur – other than when I take them off. I started college while still in high school, and somehow survived high school. I went through and ended a four-year relationship that taught me a hella lot about myself and who I needed in my life, I built many blogs from the ground up in search of one just right, and I’ve met plenty of people, pleasant and not so pleasant, along the way.
I love any of the following but not limited to: dancing in the kitchen and singing awfully, cooking and baking, making to-do lists with fancy checkboxes, organizing anything and everything and I love rap, country, pop, hip-hop, and alternative (basically any type honestly) music.
Life isn’t perfect like Instagram often wants to depict it. I’ve lost, I won, I’ve fallen, I’ve gotten back up, I’ve been through shit. Just like you, girlfriend! Dance in your pants, knock your socks off by accomplishing all the things, sing all the songs loud and proud, try that new weird looking food, take plenty of photos and just keep going! This crazy life thing can be amazing if we work towards some badass happiness. I’m here to show you that life is a crazy mess of great, okay, and oh-so-awful moments – all without a filter. We’re here to be realcrazy, and create a better lifestyle. Sit back, drink that Cherry Coke and live your best life.

About This Is Home

I started This Is Home after several failed blogs with the idea to be one thing: honest. There are too many spaces and places on the internet flashing perfection ideals and expensive items. Here, we stick to the roots of honest, genuine and most times, random, content. This Is Home is home to reviews, all things life and the occasional peek into food, and DIY. This Is Home is just that, home. Here, we grow, we expand and we learn together. The space to spread happiness, positivity and good vibes has arrived on your browser.
