My Favorite Study Tools

11 October

As a student, it can be hard to sit down, complete an assignment and not cry from stress. Luckily, I've found some tools to no crying -so hard- and getting studying/assignments done without the heavy tears. Today I am going to share my favorite study tools with you!

1 // Google Calendars

Google Calendars is my go to for scheduling tool when copying down library book due dates, assignment due dates and mapping out project 'micro-tasks'.

For you, this can be the ultimate tool for finding out what dates you need to sit down and study and what you will be studying on those days.

2 // Noisli

Noisli is my most used tool after Google Calendars. Open it up in your browser and be prepared for no outside distractions!

Noisli is great for those days everyone in the house or in the library is being a bit too loud to concentrate. Just plug your earbuds into your laptop and be ready to concentrate peacefully.

My personal favorite is the fan!

3 // A Timer

It's been proven that timed work with timed breaks makes for better productivity on your part. That being said, pick out a timer and use it. Any online timer will do! Just set the timer for 20 minutes and work hard. Once the timer goes off, take a timed 5 minute break. Continue doing this to power through your studying and homework.

4 // Momentum

Momentum is my favorite more-so for the looks. But this extension shows a new, beautiful photograph every day. The interface shows the time, the weather where you are, your main priority for the day and you can enter in your to do list. It also looks great in desktop photos to go onto Instagram and Tumblr!

5 // Sweet Tea

Sweet tea is like my drug. It provides the drink I need to stay hydrated. Any drink can be inserted here for your studying pleasure (coffee, warm tea, water, lemonade). Just keep a drink by your side for your convenience and hydration needs.

6 // Tumblr

I know your thoughts right now are probably something like "A social media platform, really Anna?" but hang tight and hear me out! Tumblr has so many studyblrs.

Note: StudyBlrs are blogs that show off studying areas, notes and sometimes provide tips.

You can hop onto Tumblr and search some up to feed into your studying inspiration.
