Monin Syrup Recipes & Review

12 June

The warmer weather is here and summer is well on its way. As the warmer weather continues, it is super important to stay hydrated while doing so in a way that doesn't require only drinking bland water. I have teamed up with Monin to test out a few brand new products on their line and have put them to the test in the classic club soda recipe.

Products in this blog post were provided free of compensation in exchange for an honest feature on This is home. All opinions, as always, are my own.

Blackberry Soda

Simple Instructions
  1. Ice on the bottom of the glass.
  2. Pour just enough syrup to cover the bottom of the glass
  3. Pour club soda over ice and syrup until glass is filled.
  4. Stir lightly

Blackberries have always been one of my favorite fruits and Monin brings out the best of the fruit. This drink tastes just like blackberry and I love the soda feel of the drink without the additional calories, sugar, and crap that I would be drinking with canned or bottled soda.

Off to the next recipe!

Cucumber Soda

Ingredients
Similar to the previous recipe.

Simple Instructions
  1. Ice on the bottom of the glass
  2. Pour just enough syrup to cover the bottom of the glass - Especially with this one.
  3. Pour club soda over, stir together lightly

The cucumber flavor is so strong in this drink, it makes it even better. I swapped out the soda for water in my next cucumber drink and it did wonders for the water!

Mint Soda

Simple Instructions
  1. Ice on bottom of the glass
  2. Pour just enough syrup to cover the bottom of your glass - Especially with this one.
  3. Pour club soda over, stir together lightly

Be super careful with the mint! It comes out relatively quickly and if you're not careful, you will be tasting mint for days after your drink. But, with just the right amount of flavoring, this drink is refreshing.

Watermelon Soda

If you know me well enough, I absolutely love everything watermelon flavored and this was my favorite of the products.

It was such an honor to be in touch with Monin and to work together! I would like to take a moment to apologize that there was not a blog post last week and certainly hope this makes up for it! Each product I tested today was of such high quality and without a doubt, exceeded my expectations.

Thank you again to Monin for making this blog post possible and thank you to all who read these posts, making it possible for me to continue doing what I love.

Let me know down below or in my inbox which flavor you would be excited to try!
