Hey guys! If there's one thing I understand, it is that sometimes, it is really hard to find time to just go outside. But, now that the weather is becoming more enjoyable, I try to spend as much time outside as possible.
Why? Well, I made a list ;)
1 // Fresh Air, Fresh Thoughts
I go outside to get inspiration. Yes, I spend the majority of my day behind a desk or computer. May it be during school, on the computer editing, fiddling around on Pinterest. But, I get the majority of my ideas outside of my tiny box, outside as in literal OUTSIDE. 85% of my blog and YouTube ideas come from being outside.
2 // Better Health
I think this one is a little bit of a no brainer. Sitting inside all day just is not healthy. I know that sometimes it really is unavoidable. But try. You will feel much better after stepping out for a few moments then coming back in.
3 // Cleared Head
Kind of the opposite of the Fresh Thoughts, going outside can also help you to clear your mind. A lot of stress? Home life problems? Work problems? Step out and go for a walk or for a run.
Both can help to clear your mind and then you can refocus back in, hopefully feeling a little better.
4 // Memories
It may sound cliche, but life only comes along once. Boyfriend/husband wants to go out for a stroll and dinner date? Drop the files and the emails and GO.
Emails and work tasks will be there when you get back.

I know fellow computer lovers, it can be a hard task. But step outside and enjoy a healthy, sane life. Computers are amazing gifts but ourselves and the people we love will not be around forever.
Remember: life is not all about work and to-do lists. Take that 10 minutes or so a day and step out into the backyard, play some fetch with your dog. Go on a picnic. Live life while you have it.
